Books: Memoirs of an Anti-Semite

Just checking the New York Review of Books I discovered this title, and naturally, I had to check it out at the big A and see if they had any reader reviews.

Yes, they did. And a quote from the NYR blurb:

He has Jewish friends and Jewish lovers, and their Jewishness is a matter of abiding fascination to him. His deepest and most defining relationship may even be the strange dance of attraction and repulsion that throughout his life he has conducted with this forbidden, desired, inescapable, imaginary Jewish other (emphasis mine).

Not two weeks ago I accused, yes accused a neighbour of being an anti-Semite, and strangely although she vehementdly denied this description, she too talked about an attraction throughout her life to Jewish people because they are marginalized.

Is that anti-semitism?
