There are many beautiful cities in the world and Amsterdam is one of these. I find it a romantic City and I get all tingling inside just remembering walking down a canal in the early evening watching the lights twinkle and cast shadows on the water.
In particular, Amsterdam's center where I lived, is filled with all that was glorious in the Netherland's heyday.
Now it appears the Mayor is working on a restoration. Restoration in Amsterdam is a marvel to watch as some of the structures are 300 or more years old, and with so much water, it is a challenge to behold.
With so much nostalgia, I am thinking I must pay a visit soon!
